One of the dimensions of the SuMoS project is internationalization and inter-institutional collaboration, which was especially visible throughout three consecutive weeks in September. Thanks to their geographical proximity and shared interests in education and research, SuMoS team members from FOI, FOV, and UNIZA took the opportunity to connect and meet at three different academic events. Although these events were not directly related to the SuMoS project, the partners seized the chance to discuss the project, exchange ideas, and reflect on its upcoming activities.

This series of meetups happened in first three weeks of September:

  • in the first week, FOV hosted summer school where both FOV and FOI team members had a teacher role
  • in the second week, FOI hosted student conference, where again, both FOI and FOV team members participated
  • in the third week, FOI hosted and organized its annual conference CECIIS – Central European Conference on Information and Intelligent systems, which was attended by FOV and UNIZA

At all mentioned events and meetups, SuMoS team members engaged in valuable formal and informal discussions about the SuMoS project, strengthened ties through shared academic activities and shared its network. These meetups went beyond basic academic encounter and exchange. They helped to deepen mutual understanding, foster close collaboration and maintained strong working relationship of the SuMoS partnership. Implementing mentioned project-related dialogue into academic contexts, the consortium ensures the sustainability of its collaboration and also strengthens the overall impact and visibility of the SuMoS project on both international and inter-institutional level
